Switzerland: Practitioners Send Forth Righteous Thoughts and Tell People the Facts to Support the Lawsuit Against Jiang

(Clearwisdom.net) From June 13th to 15th, Swiss Dafa practitioners sent forth righteous thoughts in front of the Chinese embassy and consulates in Zurich, Bern and Geneva. The practitioners also used various ways to voice their support for the lawsuit against Jiang Zemin, to tell people about the terrible crimes committed by this dictator and to let more people know the truth about Falun Gong. Meanwhile, a Festival was being held in a small Swiss mountain village. Several Dafa practitioners went to this beautiful village and set up a stand to let people know more about Falun Dafa and collect petition signatures. The display boards, with colorful photos about the international lawsuits against Jiang, drew a lot of attention. Therefore, Dafa practitioners used this opportunity to tell people from various places the truth about Falun Gong and to condemn Jiang's terrible crimes.

Some Dafa practitioners living in the German-speaking area of Switzerland arrived at the Chinese consulate in Zurich to send forth righteous thoughts on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. On Friday, when several Dafa practitioners were practicing meditation and sending forth righteous thoughts on the pavement outside the Chinese consulate, the staff of the consulate called the police. The practitioners tried to tell the police the facts about Falun Gong from different angles, but the police still asked them to leave the pavement area.

With the help of an enthusiastic local resident living near the consulate, Dafa practitioners moved to a place about 20 meters away from the consulate to continue sending forth righteous thoughts. Moments later, one of the consulate staff came out and saw us. He immediately shouted that he would call the police. The practitioners peacefully kindly told him that this was a private place and we already had the owner's permission to be there. He then took out his cellular phone to call the police.

Later, one policeman arrived. At this moment, several other practitioners came to join us in sending forth righteous thoughts. At first, the policeman appeared very troubled, refused to accept our leaflets, and kept asking us why we were there. The practitioners tried to show him various photos of the persecuted Dafa practitioners in China and the petition letters, telling him that our purpose of sitting here was to bring an end to the brutal persecution of millions of innocent people and that countries like Canada had successfully rescued many persecuted Dafa practitioners from incarceration. Gradually, the policeman became calm. He soon started to wonder why China would want to persecute Falun Gong. The practitioners told him that Falun Gong teaches people to follow the principles of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance," while Jiang, out of his own personal jealousy, did not allow people to practice Falun Gong. The Swiss practitioners just wanted to tell people the facts, and let them know more about Falun Gong and "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." After listening to us, the policeman said that there was nothing wrong with practicing meditation. The practitioners then used their own experiences to tell him how Falun Gong helped them regain their physical health.

At the same time, one of the practitioners tried to talk to the consulate official who kept asking us to leave and swearing at us. With a friendly smile on his face, the practitioner told him, "I will not get angry because you scold me. But as a government official, your behavior is damaging the image of the country. And also your child is beside you; your behavior will have a negative effect on him." The official refused to listen to the practitioner, and instead spouted lies that we were paid to go there.

The practitioners again showed the policeman photos of the persecution and told him how Zhao Ming was rescued with the help of the Irish government and Amnesty International. The policeman asked if he could take some materials and we gave him one copy of German newspaper and VCD. He took them with delight. He looked more relaxed now and asked if we could talk to the consulate official. We told him that we would love to, but whenever we tried, he kept asking us to leave and swearing at us.

Before leaving, the policeman said, "There is no problem with your sitting here peacefully. We just came here to try and understand the situation."

On Sunday, when we again went to send righteous thoughts at the consulate, some local people asked us what had happened two days before and why the police were there. After learning more about the situation, they were puzzled about the behavior of the consulate official. One local resident left us six bottles of mineral water to quench our thirst in the hot weather. This resident had witnessed the whole event on Saturday; when the policeman asked the consulate official about the happening, the resident expressed his dismay at the lies spread by the Chinese regime.
