Over 60 Falun Dafa Practitioners Suffer Abuse at the Fujian Provincial Female Prison

(Clearwisdom.net) The Fujian Provincial Female Prison currently holds more than 60 practitioners. The guards there torture them, utilizing the most brutal means. Practitioners who are sent there and refuse to write the "statement of crimes" before they are assigned to the squad, have to stand and face the wall. The guards and the inmates take turns monitoring them. Practitioners who refuse to give up their belief in Truth-Compassion-Forbearance are forced to face the wall for days and nights on end. Their legs become extremely swollen. These practitioners can hardly stand, yet they are not allowed to move. Also, they are forced to do excessive hard labor. They are taken from their cells at 6.00 a.m., and some as early as 4 a.m., and are forced to work until midnight. Even after they go back to their cells, they have to do work that is done by hand for another two to three hours. Those who are on hunger strikes are force fed by the police. All information is blocked. When there are visitors, the officials let the practitioners rest in order to create the illusion that practitioners are treated well. The guards will not let anyone from the outside community get too near the practitioners for fear that they would witness the evidence of physical abuse.

The following practitioners are currently imprisoned in the Fujian Provincial Female Prison:
