(Clearwisdom.net) On the morning of June 12, 2003, the Hulan County Court
of Heilongjiang Province illegally put Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhang Xuewen of
Fangtai Village, Hulan County on trial and sentenced him.
Zhang Xuewen, 56 years old, currently lives in Fangtai Village, Hulan County.
This March, he was reported by ill-intentioned people, and was illegally
arrested by the Hulan County police. At the detention center, he resisted the
persecution by staging a continuous hunger strike and he has been held for three
months. On June 12th, when we saw him, he was lying in the back seat
of a white police car face up. His face was pale, both eyes were tightly closed,
he was very emaciated, and he couldn't stand up.
The police forced his family members to pay someone to put him in the back
seat in order to bring him to court, and claimed: "If you don't get
someone, your family and relatives will not be allowed to enter the
courtroom." They didn't cooperate with them, so the police were upset:
"We'll take him back to the detention center, then sentence him, if he
can't get into the courtroom."
A policeman kicked Zhang Xuewen a few times, and claimed that: "I'll
deal with you after I go back." Seeing how police openly beat up a Dafa
practitioner who could hardly stand and was very weak, the people could clearly
understand how the police treat Dafa practitioners behind the scenes.
