it. 2. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Several Falun Dafa Practitioners from
Dongxihu District Are Illegally Taken to a Brainwashing Center Several Practitioners from Dongxihu District (Among them are Nie Xuelan,
female; Wei Liuzhen, female; and Li Xiantao, female. The names of the others are
unknown at this point) had their homes ransacked on June 9, 2003 and were taken
to Dongxihu Brainwashing Center located at Baihua Elementary School, Sandian
Farm, Dongxihu District. The situation inside the brainwashing center is not

City, Anhui Province Is Sabotaged by Local Police On May 25, 2003, a production site for Truth Materials in Huainan City, Anhui
Province, was sabotaged. Three practitioners were illegally taken into custody.
The loss includes a copier, a computer and 20,000 Yuan in cash 4. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Authorities Use SARS to Force Teachers
to Sign a Petition Against Falun Gong Due to the spread of SARS recently people are very nervous and are doing all
they can to avoid it. A few days ago, elementary and secondary schools in
Shenyang City received directives to have each teacher on staff sign a petition

Illegally Taken into Custody by the Police 6. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Li Shufang and Jiang Julan Are
Illegally Taken into Custody On May 12, Li Shufang and Jiang Julan were stalked and later taken into
custody by Xuefu Police Station at Shabei Property while they were working on

Huang Jiaoya, Nan'an District, Is Illegally Taken into Custody On May 14, someone tipped off the police about Zhang Peisheng who was
distributing Falun Dafa materials. Zhang was arrested, his home was ransacked,
and his current whereabouts is unknown. 8. [Chongqing City, Sichuan Province] Zhou Liangjuan, a Female Falun Dafa
Practitioner from Huangjiaoya, Nan'an District, Is Illegally Monitored by Local
Police Someone tipped off the police when Zhou Liangjuan was talking to a
neighborhood committee member about Falun Dafa. As soon as she got home, two
police vehicles and a dozen policemen surrounded her home and demanded Zhou
Liangjuan to go to the local police station. Zhou refused to cooperate and spoke
to the on-lookers from her balcony about Falun Dafa. The police were very angry.
They cut off her phone line and stayed near her home to put her under
surveillance, not allowing her to go out. Two of the policemen who participated were Li Shiqiang and Liu Jiang. 9. [Yi County, Liaoning Province] Some Facts About the Persecution Against
Dafa Practitioners Sun Linghua and many other Falun Dafa practitioners were illegally arrested
and held at Yi County Detention Center. When practitioner Chen Guilan went out
with her grandson, she noticed some plain clothed policemen stalking her, but
she managed to escape. When the police realized that Chen had escaped, they
ransacked her home and arrested her husband, who resisted the illegal actions of
the police. He was taken into custody and held for most of the night. He was
released after being beaten and injured. Chen Guilan had to leave her home to
avoid further persecution. 10. [Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Xie Yongde
Is Illegally Arrested Xie Yongde was arrested illegally by the police not too long ago. The
production site was sabotaged. They found some practitioners' names in Xie's
computer and arrested the practitioners. Xie Yongde is now being illegally held
at Zhanjiang City No.1 Detention Center 11. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Nuerhe Police Station Illegally Takes
Several Practitioners Into Custody On the afternoon of May 26, 2003, Nuerhe Police Station Arrested Falun Dafa
practitioners Jiang Lianqing (husband) and Gu Hexia (wife). They managed to walk
out of the police station with righteous thoughts and the wisdom developed
through Falun Dafa. At 4 p.m. on June 6, 2003, policemen from Nuerhe Police Station headed by the
chief Chao Changwen took practitioner Guo Liguang (female) into custody and sent
her to Jinzhou City Detention Center. Her home was ransacked and truth materials
confiscated. The above two cases were related to Wang Wenjun, female, who was once in
Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. She was released due to her cancer. Many people went
to look after her including many practitioners (mainly those from Jinzhou City
Nuerhe Textile Factory). However, her main conscience is not clear. She told
people about practitioners who went along with her to clarify the truth. The
police therefore deployed plainclothes police officers near her home. Many of
those practitioners who took care of her and were in touch with her were
arrested and are being persecuted. Some were forced to leave home. The local
truth clarifying efforts suffered a great loss. 12. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Daqing Forced Labor Camp Moves
Practitioners Who Remain Firm in their Belief to Suihua City Forced Labor Camp
Daqing City Forced Labor Camp is notorious for its brutal persecution of
Falun Dafa practitioners and it has been exposed on Clearwisdom Net many times.
The evil is in fear. Lately, they decided to move practitioners who remained
firm in their belief to Suihua City Forced Labor Camp for further persecution in
a worse environment. So far, several practitioners including Jiao Yonglin have
been transferred. 13. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Practitioners Liu Yazhen and Feng
Meichao from Dongshan District, Guangzhou, Guangdong Province Are Illegally
Taken into Custody Liu Yazhen and Feng Meichao were illegally taken into custody in April for
