Beijing Practitioner Shi Changhong Is Again Arrested

Former Beijing Emergency Center staff member Shi Changhong disappeared around National Day (October 1^st) in 2002. It was suspected that she was arrested by police from the Xiaoguan Police Station.

Ms. Shi Changhong was a staff member in the Beijing Emergency Center. She was very much liked and trusted by her peers and superiors. The administrators in that unit, pressured by Beijing "610 Office,"* used deceptive means to abduct her into the Beijing Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp to brainwash and persecute her.

After she got out of the forced labor camp, the manager in her department said that they should not have arrested her, but they truly did not have a choice. Shi did not want to cause them further problems, so she resigned and stayed at home. The police from Xiaoguan Police Station continued to harass her, and follow her, so she was forced to stay away from home. She disappeared around National Day in 2002 after she went home again. It is suspected that she was arrested by the District Police.
