Dafa Practitioner Wei Zaixin Maintained an Unshakable, Steadfast Belief Until His Death by Torture In the First Labor Camp In Fushun City

(Clearwisdom.net) Dafa practitioner Wei Zaixin was a explosives specialist before his death in a labor camp. The news of his being tortured to death because he practiced Falun Gong has deeply shaken the local community. Even those people on Jiangjun Street, Shun Cheng Section in Fu Shun City, who had participated in Wei's persecution, shed tears upon hearing the news. Few people knew about Wei's experience in prison. Those who bore witness to the cruelty inflicted against him felt pain and sorrow for the injustice.

I went to see Wei before he passed away. It seemed that he had aged 20 years since before his detainment; his whole body was swollen and covered with infected wounds. He could not stand, sit, or lie down. This elderly, extremely steadfast Dafa practitioner was in pain every minute. When he talked about not cooperating with the evil and about his refusal to abandon or betray his righteous faith, the face of the old man was full of righteousness and fortitude. When Wei spoke of the inhuman torture he endured in prison, he was very distressed. He was only able to talk about it briefly before he had to stop himself. Because family members were not allowed to visit him or send him clothes, Wei's body was covered with festering wounds after his long period of detainment. Wei was forced to sleep near the toilet, where prisoners would trample and step all over him. The old man suffered brutal torture and humiliation. The vicious prisoners would often pull down Wei's pants when he was unguarded. His pants were thickly covered with blood and skin. The prison guards would order the prisoners to pull down his pants when they saw that Wei's blood, flesh and skin had dried and stuck to his pants again. They repeatedly tortured and maliciously humiliated him. Under the instigation of the prison guards, the persecution of Wei by the prisoners escalated steadily. In order to destroy Wei both physically and mentally, the prisoners spared no means to further his suffering. He passed away from the severe torture just a few months later.

Before his death, although he could barely make ends meet, Wei used all of his money for truth clarifying materials. The 610 Office [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems] in Fushun City asked him, "How could you be so stupid that you would give ten thousand Yuan [Chinese currency, the monthly salary for an average Chinese urban worker is about 500 Yuan] to strangers?" Wei answered, "I am not stupid. You simply do not know the facts about Falun Gong. I will continue to use my money to prepare truth-clarifying materials. I want you to know that Falun Gong is good."

Even when confronted with persecution, Wei still clarified the facts to those people who were deceived by the Jiang regime. His peacefulness, great forbearance, integrity, and compassionate character resulted from his cultivation according to the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance. This is the true image of a Falun Gong practitioner. All the fabrication and deceit only serve to expose the cruelty and viciousness of the Jiang regime. Both kindness and cruelty are met with just returns; the vicious police will eventually be held accountable by all those who have learned the truth.
