European Friends of Falun Gong: "It is Time to Bring Jiang Zemin to Justice"

[European Friends of Falun Gong is a non-profit organisation, consisting of people who do not practise Falun Gong but are strongly against the Jiang regime's brutal persecution of practitioners.]

We believe that it is right that Jiang Zemin, the perpetrator of a four-year campaign of brutal persecution against Falun Gong practitioners in China, be brought to account for his evil actions in a court of law, and that the worst example of man's evil against man in recent history should be exposed to the world.

We give our full support to those in Chicago (USA) and Switzerland who are currently in the process of prosecuting Jiang Zemin through the courts in their own countries.

As long as Jiang is allowed to continue his systematic persecution of Falun Gong practitioners on an enormous scale, and continue to flout the people's right to freedom of belief and expression, the truth will never become clear to those outside China who would be able to make a difference to his fundamentally flawed morality and attitudes, i.e., the governments of other countries who persist in acquiescing to his every wish for their own political and economic benefit.

It is the responsibility of all of us in the know to pass on that knowledge to others. We are in the privileged position of being able to help the world recognise the difference between right and wrong, good and evil and to allow them to save more innocent people from falling prey to an evil tyrant.

We must stop Jiang Zemin from slowly eroding people's willingness to resist and oppose evil. We must stop him from destroying the spiritual, moral and social standards of mankind. It would be very easy to sit back and simply allow the evil to wreak more havoc, with the thought that we ourselves are not perpetrating any crimes, so there is no need to act.

We must bring a lawsuit against Jiang Zemin in order to actively support and eliminate this evil, and to allow the righteous principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance" to triumph over the lies, cruelty and intolerance of the Jiang Zemin regime.
