(Clearwisdom.net - June 2, 2003) On May 31, Dafa practitioners attended the annual City Parade in Blacktown, located in west Sydney. This was the fourth time that the Falun Dafa Association was invited to attend the celebration. Over 80,000 gathered in Blacktown to experience what the city offered.

The parade started at 11 a.m. The Dafa team's tranquility and colorful decorations once again enriched the traditional celebration. Many people remarked, "So beautiful..." When the Falun Gong procession passed the stage, the mayor and other city officials, and MPs of state and provincial levels gave their warm applause. The host introduced Falun Gong to tens of thousands of spectators.

Last year, the mayor and city officials resisted pressure from the Chinese consulate and supported Falun Gong by inviting the Falun Dafa Association to attend the annual celebration. This year, the host committee arranged for Falun Gong to perform on three stages throughout the day. Practitioners performed the costumed dance "Celebration," as well as the exercise demonstration and dance "Falun Dafa is Good." At the Falun Gong booth, practitioners also demonstrated the Dafa exercises continuously. Their peaceful exercises attracted many people to ask for more information. Practitioners took the opportunity to expose the evil and clarify the truth of Falun Gong.

The people loved the balloons inscribed with "Truth-Compassion-Tolerance." Over 6000 flyers were distributed quickly. Seeing so many people having the opportunity to hear about Dafa, the practitioners were delighted.
