Falun Gong at California Asian Culture Festival (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On May 31, Dafa practitioners from Fremont and Newark, California attended an Asian Cultural Festival organized by the Asian Association at Newark Memorial High School.

Falun Dafa practitioners set up a booth in the central area. Falun Dafa banners in English and Chinese flew in bright sunshine and were very attractive. Chinese and western visitors viewed exhibit boards and learned the true situation about the persecution of Falun Dafa. Practitioners worked together well, some distributing flyers, some talking to visitors, some making pinwheels for children. Some people wanted to learn Dafa exercises, and the practitioners taught them the exercises.

Many people learned the truth of Falun Dafa and expressed their indignation toward Jiang regime's brutal persecution of Falun Gong, as well as their sympathy and support to practitioners. A Chinese scholar came to learn the situation of Charles Li. When he learned that Charles was sentenced to three years in jail and was on a hunger strike in Nanjing Prison to protest the inhuman treatment, he said, "The Chinese government is absolutely lawless and evil."
