Senior Teacher Kidnapped by Police in Fushun City

(Clearwisdom.net, May 31, 2003) Ms. Wei Minghua from Number One Middle School in Qingyuan County, Fushun City, Liaoning Province is a model senior teacher. Not only is she a wonderful classroom teacher, she is also a very caring and loving person. Her students and their parents have nothing but the best to say about her. Many parents say, "We feel most reassured to place our children in Ms. Wei's hands. Through practicing Falun Gong, Wei Minghua gained excellent health and tremendous energy. When serving as the middle school third year class teacher, she often worked until midnight. She also voluntarily helped and mentored low-performing students during weekends and holidays. Most of her students have seen improved academic achievements. It is a shame that the police have arrested such a wonderful person.

On the afternoon of May 19, 2003, Fushun police officers and personnel from the Qiyuan County Political and Judiciary Office abducted Ms. Wei on the Middle School campus in broad daylight. When Ms. Wei refused to cooperate, several police officers knocked her down and dragged her by her feet towards the police van on the other side of the yard, her head scraping the ground. All teachers and students witnessed this horrific incident.

Witnessing the police daring to do such an evil act before the public's eyes, it is not difficult to imagine how severely they treat Dafa practitioners inside the detention centers and labor camps.

Fushun City Police Department officials have arrested more than a dozen Dafa practitioners in Qiyuan County. The main culprits are Party officials from the county Party Committee as well as people working in the County Political and Judiciary office and the County Police Department.
