Persecution in Manzhouli, Inner Mongolia Forces Falun Dafa Practitioners to Become Homeless

Policemen Song Xiaoyun and Gao, along with the Neighborhood Committee Director, broke into the home of Falun Dafa practitioner Liu Hanxiang (inside the Zhongfa Cereal and Oil Store) on the afternoon of June 12, 2003. They searched her body and ransacked her home. Two other practitioners managed to escape. Practitioner L Hengyou and his child were arrested while shopping at the store, and have not been heard from since. The policemen repeatedly ransacked Liu and L 's houses, forcing Liu Hanxiang to live on the street.

At 11 a.m. on June 13^th, more than 10 people from several judiciary offices, including Wang Qinghai, Bai Ruitang, An Qingyuan, Liu Peng, Liu Xianfu, and Yao Zhanyi seized a computer and three Falun Dafa books from practitioner Liu Tao's home. Attempting to capture Liu Tao's wife Yang Jing, also a practitioner, the policeman left Mr. Liu's young daughter at home as bait. With the help of kindhearted people, Yang Jing managed to escape but was forced to live on the street to avoid being persecuted.

A practitioner from Yakeshi was also arrested while shopping for food at the Guangdabuxingjie Grocery Store. His house was searched. The case is under investigation for detailed information.
