Recalling a Gathering of Dafa Practitioners in Changchun City to Send Forth Righteous Thoughts

(Clearwisdom.net) In early July 2001, when all forced labor camps and prisons of Changchun City brutally persecuted Dafa practitioners, some practitioners suggested the following: To send forth righteous thoughts together at a specific time to eliminate the evil factors in Changchun City in other dimensions that manipulated those evil persons in the labor camps and prisons to persecute Dafa, and to help the illegally detained practitioners get out of the demon dens with their righteous thoughts.

This suggestion was quickly approved among the practitioners. Soon afterwards, the practitioners in the city held several Fa-conferences in groups. I attended one of them. At the Fa-conference, one lady who had gotten out of the Heizuizi Labor Camp shared her experience about how she was persecuted, forced to "enlighten" along an evil path and how she finally awakened. Her story was very moving. Through Fa study and experience sharing, we improved our understanding of Fa-rectification cultivation and held a much stronger belief in the effect of sending forth righteous thoughts. At the conference, we were informed of the time schedule to send forth righteous thoughts. It was a few days later, at 9 p.m. on Thursday (so that more practitioners could be informed to join in).

I remember that night when five or six female practitioners gathered together to prepare to send forth righteous thoughts. We studied the Fa, shared experiences and waited for the proper moment. When it was about 10 minutes to 9 p.m., we couldn't wait any longer and with someone's suggestion we sent forth righteous thoughts for nearly half an hour.

In September of that year, while I was forced to leave home to avoid illegal arrest and torture, I learned that many steadfast Dafa practitioners were unconditionally released in Changchun. I was very happy knowing that the group's sending forth righteous thoughts must have had a good effect.
