Eight Dafa Practitioners from Xinye County, Henan Province were Arrested During the 16th National Party Conference
(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Li Wan'e went to Beijing in October of 1999 to validate Dafa. The police took him back to
Xinye County, Henan Province, where he was illegally detained in jail for several months and forced
to endure many kinds of torture. Regardless of the abuse, he was very firm in his belief in Dafa and
was eventually sent to the 2nd Labor Camp of Henan Province in Ruzhou City in March 2000
for three years of forced labor. Later that year, he was transferred to the 3rd Labor
Camp of Henan Province in Xuchang City. In October 2000, he was released for medical care due to
extremely high blood pressure. On November 11, 2002, right before the 16th National Party
Conference, three policemen from the Xuchang City labor Camp (one of them named Tan Junmin) abducted
Mr. Li. He was later released on November 23rd but has since been arrested again by police from the
Xinye County Police Department. He remains in detention to this day. Mr. Ma Dexing went to Beijing to validate Dafa in October of 1999 and was later taken back to
Xinye County. He was illegally detained in jail for several months, and then in December 1999 sent
to the 2nd Labor Camp of Henan Province in Ruzhou City. During the period of forced
labor, he was subjected to brainwashing. He was released in the summer of 2000. He later realized
his mistake of accepting the evil's lies and returned to the Fa-rectification. In the summer of
2002, the police arrested him. He was very firm in his belief in Dafa and was sent to the labor camp
in Xuchang with other practitioners. Because they all had strong righteous thoughts, the labor camp
refused to accept them. They were then sent back to Xinye and were released soon thereafter. In
November 2002, right before the 16th National Party Conference, Mr. Ma was arrested again
and is still being detained in the Xinye County Prison. Ms. Liu Zhonghua went to Beijing to validate Dafa in November of 1999 and was later taken back to
Xinye County. She was detained in jail until April 2000, and was then transferred to her work unit
for monitoring. In May 2000, she escaped from the work unit and left home to avoid further
persecution. In September of 2001, police officers Li Bin and Peng Zenglan arrested her in her
hometown and took her back to Xinye. She was brutally tortured for seven consecutive days and
nights. During that period, Ms. Liu did not betray her fellow practitioners, and firmly safeguarded
Dafa. In January 2003, she was illegally sentenced to 4 years in jail and sent to the Xinxiang City
Women's Prison. During the trial, Ms. Liu Zhonghua shouted, "Falun Dafa is Good!" Many
people who witnessed this were moved, and she successfully frightened the evil and validated Dafa. Other practitioners arrested during that period included Na Ying, Wu Hongzhen, Qiao Huimin, Ding
Xuemei, Ding Zhenqing and Dian Laosi, for a total of eight practitioners. They are all currently
