"610 Office" Staff of Shengli Oil Plant in Shandong Province Abduct and Place Falun Gong Practitioners in Brainwashing Centers

Very recently, the Shengli Oil Plant "610 Office"* illegally arrested many Falun Gong practitioners and sent them to brainwashing centers to be brainwashed. Some of those practitioners' names are listed below:

Mr. Liu Cheng, 25, employed at Dongxin Oil Extraction Plant of the Shengli Oil Field. In May 2003, after being illegally detained at a forced labor camp for two years, Mr. Liu was released and taken back by his company. He was quarantined for three weeks because of the SARS epidemic. Then, by order of the "610 Office" and his work unit, he was sent to the Oil Gas Transportation Company Brainwashing Center.

Mr. Guo Shusheng is in his 30's, and is employed with the Shenli Oil Field Group. Early in June 2003, he was turned in by a "Collaborator"** whom he was trying to help. The "610 Office" sent him to the Oil Gas Transportation Brainwashing Center. Guo held a hunger strike to resist the persecution. After about 9 days, he was sent to the Oil Field Central Hospital for emergency treatment. In the days that followed, the joint efforts of Dafa practitioners and his family, saw him return home.

Ms. An Yuzhi is in her 50's, and was a former employee of the Huanghe Drilling Well General Company. Around June 10^th, 2003, she was reported for handing out truth-clarifying materials in a residential area. She was seized by the local police and sent directly to the brainwashing center of the Oil Gas Transportation Company. To this day she is on hunger strike to protest the persecution.

Ms. Li Aifang, 48, lives in Shengbei Community. In May 2003, she wrote a letter to the people in charge of Shengbei Community to clarify the facts about Falun Dafa. On May 27^th, she was abducted and taken to the Shenli Oil Extraction Plant Brainwashing Center to be persecuted by police.

Mr. Xiu Shulin, 63, lives in Shengbei Community. Because he co-wrote the letter with Li Aifang, he was abducted and taken to the Shengli Oil Extraction Plant Brainwashing Center on May 31^st. Xiu Shulin surrendered to the evil; he eventually revealed the source of Dafa materials, contact people, attendees of the experience sharing meeting, etc., which has caused great damage to local Dafa practitioners. Many Dafa practitioners have been arrested.

Ms. Zhang Yuhua, is a retired employee of the Huanghe Drilling Well General Company Supply Station. Her arrest followed that of Xiu Shulin.

Ms. Li Xuerong, 52, is a family member. Her arrest followed that of Xiu Shulin.

Ms. He is in her 50's, and a family member and employee of the Shengli Auto Body Shop. In early 2003, she went to the countryside to hand out truth-clarification materials, was arrested by security officers, and was then sent back to the Auto Repair Shop for detention. She took advantage of the shift change of the guards and jumped from the 2^nd floor, then ran off to avoid further persecution. She became homeless to avoid being persecuted. Later, she went back home unnoticed, but was eventually discovered by the Auto Body Shop. She was arrested and taken to the Oil Gas Transportation Company Brainwashing Center and is being persecuted there.

* "610 Office" is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.

** "Collaborators" are former Falun Gong practitioners who have gone astray due to brainwashing and torture and now persecute firm Falun Gong practitioners.
