Dafa Heals People With Surprising Results (II)
June 23, 2003 (Clearwisdom.net) The amazing power of Falun Dafa has given a second life to
many people with severe illnesses. At the same time, Falun Dafa practitioners
follow the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance" and place
others before themselves. This is especially reflected in their daily lives,
where they are self-disciplined and are tolerant of others in order to
benevolently resolve conflicts and animosity and do well in all situations. The following are the experiences of a few practitioners who
have benefited from Dafa. In order to protect them from persecution by the
Chinese authorities, their names have been withheld. Story #1 - I Really Do Not Need to Take Warfarin Anymore I am 51 years of age. I used to be very sick. I went to see
many doctors and was taking many medications. I started to practice various
qigong in 1985, but none of them helped to cure my illness. In 1991, I had a major heart operation to replace a valve.
The day after the operation, I suddenly suffered from a brain embolism, and the
lower half of my body was paralyzed. The doctor gave me Warfarin (an
anticoagulant) to help me recover and told me that I must take it every day for
the rest of my life; otherwise my life would be in jeopardy. For a few years after the operation, I often went to Beijing
to see the doctor. Because the prescription of Warfarin was sometimes
inaccurate, there were lots of purple and red marks on my body. The doctor said
these marks were blood clots in the lower part of my body, and that if they
happened in my upper body, I would die. Back then I was on the edge of death and
afraid I would die soon. In May 1996, my lower back suddenly slipped a disk, and I
could not move at all and was bedridden with severe pain. At my aunt's
prompting, I finally started to practice Falun Dafa. After a while, it was as if
I had become a different person. Before, I had to climb the stairs extremely
slowly, and I would be short of breath with sweat all over my body. After
practicing Falun Dafa, I felt very light. I no longer needed to take Warfarin.
The doctors were all amazed and in disbelief, and said, "You don't want your
life anymore? How can this miracle happen?" I wrote to the doctor who conducted
the heart operation for me in the Beijing 301 Hospital. I told him the story of
my miracle and the power of Falun Dafa. Since I began practicing, I started to
cultivate my inner nature, my body was purified, and the blood clots are all
gone. It has now been 7 years since I started practicing, and I have not taken
Warfarin for such a long time, yet I am not only alive, I also have a healthy
body. This sufficiently proves that Falun Dafa is not "superstition." It is an
advanced science. As long as you conduct yourself by the principles of
"Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance," you will achieve the effect of
healing. Story #2 Neighbors and Colleagues Witness the Miracle of Dafa In the past, I suffered from coronary heart disease. I lived
in the hospital most of the time, and every few days, I had to receive 4-5
bottles of intravenous fluid and rely on pumped oxygen to survive. Later, the
illness developed into heart peduncle (a bundle of nerve fibers), so I often
needed emergency rescue. Every year, I spent thousands of Yuan on medical
expenses. My whole family had to take turns looking after me. They often cried
and even thought about arranging my funeral. In March 1996, I heard that the hospital had recommended limb
amputation to a friend of mine who suffered arteriosclerosis. However, not only
did he not have part of his body cut off, he even recovered after practicing
Falun Dafa. Because of his example, I also practiced Falun Dafa. I am the
luckiest person! Since 1996, it has been 8 years in which I have conducted
myself according to the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion and
Forbearance." I have tried to become a good person in all ways. My mood became
better, and my illness disappeared gradually. It is Master Li who saved me; it
is Falun Dafa that allowed my life to be extended. My whole family was happy for
me. My neighbors and colleagues all witnessed my changes and said, "Dafa is
great! It is miraculous!" Story #3 - Our Family and Friends Were Shocked by the
Disappearance of Liver Cancer I was a person with liver cancer. My parents and my elder
brother all died from liver cancer, and not long after their deaths, my younger
brother and I were both found to have liver cancer. Back then, our family was
already in debt, and we had no money to pay for medical expenses. Even if we
could have afforded medical treatment, according to doctors, we could only have
survived for another 3 months. My brother and I were in despair, and that is
when we attained Falun Dafa. Through practicing the exercises and following the
fundamental principles of the universe, "Truthfulness, Compassion and
Forbearance," and by conducting ourselves to become good people, our moral
standards were elevated and our bodies purified. It only took half a year for my
brother and myself to feel that our liver cancer had disappeared. Our family and
friends could not believe it and took us to the hospital for examinations. After
a thorough testing, the hospital confirmed that our cancer had disappeared. My
family all burst into tears and called aloud, "Falun Dafa is great!" It is
Master Li who gave my brother and I our second lives. This is the power of Dafa! (Please refer to
