Falun Gong Practitioners Arrested in Elunchun, Autonomous Tribe of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region
(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner, Bian Aina, female, 34 years old, was arrested at her
home on January 31, 2003. She was illegally detained at a detention center in
the Elunchun, Autonomous Tribal Region. The police suspected her of mailing out
truth-clarifying materials. In late April, the police sent Ms. Bian to Hohhot
Women's Labor Camp. Due to the outbreak of SARS in Hohhot, Ms. Bian was
transferred to the Ewenke Tribal Detention Center. There has been no word of her
since then. Falun Dafa practitioner, Zhao Hongzhi, female, 50 years old, was arrested
with her daughter (around 30 years old) on the night of May 5, 2003. Zhao and
her daughter were handing out truth-clarifying materials. They are currently
being detained at the Elunchun Autonomous Tribal Detention Center (located in
the town of Alihe). Falun Dafa practitioner, Guo Junxue, female, 39 years old, was arrested
around 9:00 p.m. on May 5, 2003. Led by police director Li, a group of police
officers from Dayangshu Police Department forced their way into Ms. Guo's home.
They ransacked her home and confiscated truth-clarifying materials and Falun
Dafa books. The police then arrested Ms. Guo and sent her to the Elunchun
