Over several days at the beginning of July, practitioners visited many busy
areas of Oslo to tell people the facts about Article 23 and the persecution of
Falun Gong. They also collected petition signatures and distributed flyers.
Actually, on these days, there were not only a lot of
Norwegian residents and western tourists in the city, but also many tourists
from Hong Kong. They were very surprised to travel so far from home and meet
western people telling them what was happening in Hong Kong! Practitioners
explained the facts about Article 23 and discussed the bad impact it would have
on Hong Kong. Some of the Hong Kong tourists took pictures of us, otherwise
people back home could never believe that they traveled all the way to Norway
and met people who cared about the future of Hong Kong and the human rights of
the Hong K ong people.
