Retired Cadres: "Falun Gong Is So Great, We'll Start Practicing Today!"

One day I visited two retired cadres to clarify the truth to them. I talked to them about how Falun Gong teaches people to better themselves as well as the wonderful health benefits that come with the practice. I shared with them the wonderful improvements in mind and body that I have experienced myself. I also told them how Jiang Zemin persecutes Falun Gong and is now being sued for genocide in an American court. As we chatted, I clarified the truth from one issue to another. After listening they both said: "Falun Gong is so great, we'll start practicing today!"

One day, an elderly retired lady came to me to inquire about Falun Gong. I patiently pointed out the many loopholes in each of the regime's various lies. I told her that people who practice cultivation set strict requirements for themselves in accordance with Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance; that Falun Gong is practised in more than 60 countries around the world and has received over 1000 awards internationally.

She understood what I was trying to say: "So it was Jiang who's been pulling the strings all along. People who did not know the truth are being manipulated to the point of even hating Falun Gong. Now I understand. It is Jiang who is the real crook. I was almost fooled by him." I gave her a truth clarification VCD and booklet. She said: "I've got to hurry home to show my husband and my kids. They've got to watch this. They can't afford to be deceived again."

I went to see a fellow practitioner one day. Her husband, who is the director of the Public Security Bureau in our county, happened to be home. I asked him: "You are a police officer, how come you allow your own wife to practise Falun Gong?" Unexpectedly he replied with much earnestness: "Falun Gong teaches people to better themselves. It brings harmony into families. It is a great practice and just what we need in our home. I know why you are here. Please do feel at ease, I've already rectified my home environment."

A husband who does not practice cultivation came home to his wife who is a Dafa practitioner and told her proudly: "We had a meeting about Falun Gong at work today." He and his team picked up some truth clarification materials that were distributed by Dafa practitioners. Everybody wanted to read them and people couldn't wait for their turn. There was a suggestion that one person could read it out loud for the benefit of everybody. As it was read, everybody listened eagerly. This way, a meeting about Falun Gong was effectively and positively held openly at the workplace on that day.

Dafa practitioner Xiao Hui boarded a bus to work one day. Two of her colleagues, B and C, were also on the same bus. When Xiao Hui was paying for her ticket the conductor gave her 70 cents extra in change. Xiao Hui returned the excess money to the conductor as soon as she realised the mistake. B said to C: "Look, the state of mind of Falun Gong practitioner's is certainly very good."
