After Murdering Many Dafa Practitioners, Police in Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province Plan to Illegally Try Practitioners, Including Wang Xinzhong

(Clearwisdom.net) According to a reliable source, Dafa practitioners who were abducted by people from the Wanbailin District Police Department in October and November 2002 will be illegally tried in the near future. Around June 25, 2003, this group of Dafa practitioners was transferred. The authorities in Shanxi Province planned to hold an illegal trial before July 10.

On October 1, 2002, people from the Wanbailin District Police Department in Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province founded a "101 special case group" consisting of 30 criminal police officers whose job is to spy, follow and abduct Dafa practitioners. From mid October to mid November, they abducted more than 100 practitioners and demolished Dafa material sites. The police along with Taiyuan City Public Security Hospital brutally tortured the practitioners, including beating, shocking with high-voltage electric batons, placing them on the "dead person's bed"¹ and force-feeding, which have caused the death of many practitioners. So far, three confirmed torture deaths include Dafa practitioner Ding Lihong from the Mechanics Section of the Shijiazhuang City Railroad Bureau in Hebei Province; practitioner Meng and another practitioner from Shijiazhuang City whose name is unknown.

After they madly committed crimes, Wanbailin District Police Department publicized its crimes with a three-month exhibition with pictures of abducted Dafa practitioners and pictures of the money and equipments they took from Dafa material sites. It was learned that Taiyuan City Public Security Hospital is mainly responsible for the torture deaths of Dafa practitioners. Other than practitioner Ding Lihong, many other practitioners were also tortured to death here. Moreover, it was heard that the Wanbailin District Police Department beat practitioners to death.

Moreover, in the morning of October 24, 2002, Dafa practitioners Yang Yanying, Zhang Aihua, Li Meilan, Xing Yindi and several local practitioners went to Shanxi Province's government located in Taiyuan City to post truth clarification materials, and were illegally arrested. At 4:00 p.m. that same day, it was heard the four practitioners were tortured to death by police with electric batons. The thugs even ordered the practitioners' families to pay money before they could have the bodies.

It is known that these practitioners from Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province were abducted between October and November 2002:

Mr. Ding Lihong, 36 years old, was a driver for the Mechanics Section of the Shijiazhuang City Railroad Bureau. He went to Beijing many times to appeal and was illegally arrested and persecuted. In September 2001, people from a Shijiazhuang City criminal police brigade kidnapped him. He was released after holding a hunger strike lasting more than 20 days. He was on the verge of death. In early February 2002, officials from his work unit abducted and sent him to a Hebei Province Capital Brainwashing Center. Ding Lihong upheld Dafa with dignity in this brainwashing center but was force-fed food and alcohol, brutally beaten and was deprived of sleep. He held many hunger strikes and escaped with righteous thoughts after suffering two and half months of brutal torture. The people at the brainwashing center said, "Ding Lihong suffered a lot." Around November 1, 2002, Ding Lihong was again abducted while going from place to place [he was forced to leave home to avoid illegal arrest] and was brutally tortured. He held a hunger strike and was sent to Taiyuan City Public Security Hospital, where he was brutally tortured and died as a result from force-feeding.

Mr. Wang Xinzhong is the father of Wang Bo. He was in his 40's and worked as an official at the Mechanics Section of Shijiazhuang Railroad Bureau. In the summer of 2001, people from the Shijiazhuang City "610 Office"² who went to his work unit and beat and abducted him. Later he escaped and was forced to leave home. When he returned home in late 2001, his daughter Wang Bo, who had been brainwashed, accompanied police from the "610 Office" who arrested him and sent him to Hebei Province Capital Brainwashing Center. He was brutally tortured for a long time. On May 13, 2002, he escaped and was forced to leave home again. In August 2002, he exposed the true nature of the brainwashing on Minghui Net. People from the Hebei Province "610 Office" pursued him. In October 2002, he was abducted at his residence in Fenxi City, Shanxi Province. It was learned that people from the Hebei Province "610 Office" and government officials from Shanxi Province hatched a plan to demand hundreds of thousands of Yuan before they would return Wang Xinzhong to Hebei Province. In the end the plan failed.

Ms. He Wen (pseudonym), in her 40's, was abducted by people from the Politics and Security Section of Shijiazhuang City Police Department on January 6, 2002 (Chinese lunar calendar). She firmly refused to give her name and address, and was illegally sent to No. 2 Detention Center in Shijiazhuang City. She held a six-month hunger strike and was released when she was on the verge of death. She went to Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province and in late October was kidnapped in Fenxi City along with Wang Xinzhong.

Ms. Qiu Lihua, in her 40's, worked at the 6410 Military Factory in Jingxing County, Shijiazhuang City. She was illegally sent to forced labor and was released on bail for medical treatment. In mid October 2002, she was kidnapped in Taiyuan City or Taigu County.

Mr. Luan Fusheng, 52 years old, was an electrician for real estate section of Hebei Provincial Government. In December 2000, he was forced to leave home. In mid- October 2002, he was kidnapped in Taiyuan City or Taigu County.

Ms. Huang Xiuping, in her 40's, was an assistant engineer at Shijiazhuang City Post Office Bureau. In December 2000, she was forced to leave home. In December 2001, she was kidnapped from home by officers from Hongqi Street Police Station in Shijiazhuang City. She was sent to Hebei Province Capital Brainwashing Center. After she was released in the summer of 2002, she was forced to leave home and was again kidnapped in mid October 2002 in Taiyuan City or Taigu County.

Mr. Zhou Li, 29 years old, earned a Master's degree from the Department of Biology at Beijing University. In August 2001, he was abducted by Shijiazhuang City police and illegally detained at No. 1 Detention Center in Shijiazhuang City for several months. Later, he was released on bail for medical treatment. In mid November 2002, he was again abducted, this time from his residence in Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province.

Ms. Fei Fei (pseudonym), in her 30's, was abducted along with some other practitioners in Taiyuan City in mid November 2002. She was sent to Taiyuan City Public Security Hospital, where she was brutally tortured. She held a one-month hunger strike and was released when she was on the verge of death.

It was learned that in October and November 2002, practitioners who had been abducted were mainly detained at the Wanbailin Detention Center in Taiyuan City (No. 4 Detention Center). This time, the authorities planned to illegally try the practitioners on the charge of "helping to hide Wang Xinzhong." Dafa practitioner Wang Xinzhong is in a worrisome situation. He was illegally detained at an unknown place in Shanxi Province.
