Those Who Persecute Falun Gong Suffer Losses

Mr. Li Xiuzhi, an instructor at Hebei Province's Shahe City Police Station, and Mr. Zhu Feng, the Director of the Police Station, used to associate closely with the Jiang's regime in persecuting local Falun Gong practitioners. Many times both of them went to the train station and illegally arrested practitioners who were going out of town. They not only illegally detained practitioners, but also sent practitioners to the Political Security Department for further persecution after confiscating the practitioners' cash without issuing a receipt. These two corrupt officials totally abused the holy duty of public security as being people's police in "Helping to prevent crime, ensure safety of the people, and support justice."

Mr. Li Xiuzhi was arrested in 2002 for a financial crime, and later spent a large amount of money on bail bonds with a health excuse. Recently, Mr. Zhu Feng was also arrested by the order of the court for another financial crime.

Ms. Wang Xiaohong is a worker at Heilongjian Province's Bei'an City Dongsheng Post Office. In May 2002, she turned in a Falun Gong truth-clarifying CD, distributed to her house by practitioners, and in return, she got a reward of 50 Yuan* from the local police station. Later she lost her gold ring worth of 600 Yuan and her husband spent more than 5,000 Yuan on medical expenses for his eye illness.

* Yuan is the Chinese currency. The average monthly salary of an urban worker in China is 500 Yuan.
