Atrocities Recently Committed in Jiyuqiao Police Station, Wuchang District, Wuhan City

(Clearwisdom.net) Since mid-June of 2003, under the direction of the "610 office," Jiyuqiao Police Station in Wuchang District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province repeatedly broke into all Dafa practitioners' homes in the area.

They broke into the home of Dafa practitioner Ms. Peng Liangmei (who is a widow with a little child), taking the opportunity of an electrical outage to arrest Peng Liangmei and take her away. During the arrest they were afraid that the other residents would discover what they were doing, so they choked her neck tightly to prevent her from crying out, and then dragged her out. Her whereabouts are as yet unknown.

Dafa practitioner Ms. Dai Hanlan was illegally arrested from her workplace.

Dafa practitioner Ms. Yu Lamei's home was broken into by a group of police who came in through the patio on June 19, 2003, and she was illegally arrested. Her whereabouts are as yet unknown.

Dafa practitioner Ms. Xiao Chaiyan was suddenly arrested by a group of police when she was taking care of her grandson at her son's home. Her whereabouts are as yet unknown.

On the evening of June 16, 2003, under the direction of the "610 office," the local police illegally pried open the door of Dafa practitioner Ms. Geng Shun'e's home. They could not find her (as she was already forced to leave home to avoid being arrested), yet they took her husband (who does not practice Falun Gong) to the local police station. Faced with questioning by a family member who learned of the incident, the police had to release him.
