(Clearwisdom.net) Last weekend, Falun Gong practitioners from Norway gathered together in Oslo to tell the public about the unjustified persecution of Falun Gong in China, which has been taking place for four years now and the persecutory nature of Hong Kong's Article 23. They also told people about what Falun Gong is and demonstrated the exercises. Later, practitioners used their precious time together to study the Fa and exchange cultivation experiences.

On Saturday July 12, practitioners displayed two exhibitions at the "Musikkpavillion", which is on the main street of the Oslo city centre. One exhibition was in Chinese and the other was in a mixture of Norwegian and English, but both were about Falun Gong and the cruel persecution. Besides the local people, there were also many Western and Chinese tourists who walked by and viewed our exhibition. They sat down on the park benches and watched us, enjoying the Chinese music and the Falun Gong exercises.

One Western tourist told a practitioner that when he visited Beijing last year, he saw Chinese Falun Gong practitioners practicing the exercises near the Forbidden City, and they looked so nice and peaceful. He had got a very positive impression of Falun Gong from that experience. These practitioners also talked to his group of tourists, but Chinese policemen suddenly appeared and took the practitioners away. This Western tourist said that in fact he does not know what Falun Gong is and why it is persecuted in China, and he asked the practitioner to tell him more about it, explain the facts and give him some detailed information. The Western tourist also had no idea what the Chinese practitioners would endure after being taken away by the police.

The public was very interested in our exhibition and in learning more about Falun Gong. People were surprised and happy to hear that Jiang Zemin will be taken to court for genocide against Falun Gong. It seemed that a lot of people agreed after reading our banner stating that he Chinese dictator is to face court action; they gladly took our flyers.

After the exhibition in the centre of Oslo, practitioners gathered together at the "Vigeland-Frognerparken", which is a big park with a lot of beautiful rose bushes. This park is one of the main tourist attractions in Oslo. Practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises for two hours and told the tourists and native Norwegians about Falun Gong. Later in the evening, we studied the Fa together at a practitioner's house and sent forth righteous thoughts.

On Sunday July 13th, practitioners studied together, then practiced the exercises and sent forth righteous thoughts outside the Chinese Embassy in Oslo. The weather on the two days was very warm with beautiful sunshine most of the time.
