Husband and Wife Sentenced to Forced Labor, Causing an Elderly Father to Die From Worry and Leaving Two Young Girls Lonely and Helpless (Includes Phone Numbers)

(Clearwisdom.net) Because of their persistence in their beliefs, and for practicing Falun Dafa, practitioners Yang Zhu (husband), Fang Jing (wife), their two daughters, and Yang Zhu's father, all from Chengdu City in Sichuan Province, have suffered severe persecution after the Chinese government started its oppression of Falun Gong.

Yang Zhu and Fang Jing twice went to Beijing to appeal to the higher authorities with their two young daughters. They were beaten brutally by the police when they were caught holding up a pro-Falun Gong banner in Tiananmen Square. They have also been illegally detained several times in Chengdu City for appealing. Fang Jing especially, has been a target in Jinjiang district of Chengdu City. She was illegally sentenced to a year and half of "reeducation through forced labor" at Nanmusi Women's Forced Labor Camp in Zizhong County in 2000. She was released in February 2002. The couple was detained again on April 18^th, 2002 due to persisting in their cultivation of Dafa and was held at the Detention Center of Pi County in Chengdu City. Later Yang Zhu was illegally sentenced to two years of "reeducation through forced labor" and is being held at Xinhua Forced Labor Camp in Mianyang County. Fang Jing was illegally sentenced to three years of "reform through forced labor" by the court of Jinjiang District in Chengdu City and she is being held at Longquanyi Reform through Forced Labor Farm in Chengdu City.

After witnessing the relentless persecution of his son and daughter-in-law, and after seeing the suffering and loneliness of his two young granddaughters for the past two years, Yang Zhu's eighty-year-old father passed away on March 4^th, 2003. A happy family was broken apart by Jiang's regime.

Yang Xinyu, the older daughter of Yang Zhu, is ten and in the fourth grade. Fang Jie, the younger daughter of the couple is eight years old and she is in the second grade. They are both good students. They went to visit their mother at the forced labor camp when they had a day off from school, but due to the ongoing SARS problem the prison police refused to let them see their mother. The weather was very hot in Chengdu City and the expense for the round trip cost the girls ten Yuan, which is quite expensive for the girls since they only receive a very small stipend each month. It didn't matter how the two girls begged the prison police to allow them to see their mother, the prison police refused. The mother of Fang Jing is taking care of the two young daughters now with the help of some practitioners.
