About two hundred and fifty Falun Gong practitioners gathered at Standard Garden after 5 pm and sat quietly. The appeal ended at 10:30 p.m. Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Huang said that the practitioners came here to express their opposition to Article 23 legislation. They wanted the Hong Kong government to stop the legislation. Ms. Huang said her colleagues and friends plan to join the parade.

Someone called on the Hong Kong people to follow a dress code to express their opinions. Wearing black shirt represents "against Article 23", while wearing black pants and skirts represents "against Tung". The Hong Kong Falun Gong practitioners decided to wear their regular yellow suits. They will not chant slogans, only peacefully protest.
