Canada: Practitioners Introduce Falun Gong in Edmonton's Gold Rush Festival (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On July 17, 2003, the annual Edmonton Gold Rush festival began and local residents came out to watch the parade, performances and to enjoy various festivities. Edmonton Falun Gong practitioners took advantage of this opportunity, demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises in front of city hall and distributed flyers to show the grace of Falun Dafa. Local people were pleased to see Falun Gong practitioners and their peaceful and graceful exercises. Many came forward to request flyers and ask for information on Chinese regime's persecution of Falun Gong. A reporter from CBC Radio (Canada's national radio network) picked up a flyer when she passed by. She called the practitioners to learn more and said she was interested in the story of Falun Gong practitioners enduring four years of persecution, and that they have sued the culprit Jiang Zemin in a US Federal Court.
