The Falun Dafa Information Center reported on June 18 that a 26-year-old
Falun Dafa practitioner Zhu Zhiyong from Liuan City, Anhui Province, was
verified to have been killed on September 18, 2003 at the Valve Factory,
affiliated with Brigade One of Baihu Labor Camp in Liujiang County, Anhui
Province. The camp police said that he died because he refused to give up his
belief in Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance. The details of his death are
being investigated.
Yesterday a policeman from the Interrogation Section of the valve factory
verified the death of Zhu Zhiyong.
He said, "Zhu Zhiyong was arrested and detained because he practiced
Falun Gong. The camp had once carried out brainwashing on him. Because he
resumed the practice of Dafa after he was released, he was arrested again and
sentenced to 4 years of forced labor education."
He also said, "After three years of labor education, he still refused to
give in." He was very hesitant to disclose the cause of Zhu Zhiyong's
death. He claimed that it was an "accident."
It has been reported that five brigades have been established in Baihu Labor
Camp, Lujiang County, Anhui Province. When we called the valve factory and asked
about the cause of Zhu Zhiyong's death, everyone who answered the phone would
immediately hang up.
