Practitioners' Concert Begins a Series of Truth Clarification Activities in Washington DC (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On Saturday, July 19, 2003, Falun Gong practitioners from around the world held a special concert near the Capitol Hill in Washington DC to begin a series of "July 20" truth-clarifying activities.

Falun Gong practitioners who participated in this concert included renowned Chinese artist Mr. Guan Guimin. He was quite famous in the 70's C80's in China. He began practicing Falun Gong in 1996 and now lives in America. He said at the concert that he used to be a chronically sick person, but regained his health after practicing Falun Gong. He could not understand why Jiang's regime so irrationally suppressed Falun Gong. He hoped everybody could truly understand Falun Gong.

July 20, 1999 was a gloomy day. From then on, Jiang began publicly and systematically carrying out a smear campaign and brutal suppression on Falun Gong on a large scale. He also claimed to "eliminate Falun Gong in three months." Four years later today, thousands of Falun Gong practitioners from around the world began from July 19 holding four-day activities in Washington DC, informing people about Jiang regime's persecution and displaying positively Falun Gong practitioners' demeanor to the public.
