Falun Gong Practitioners in Saipan Circle the Island On Foot While Clarifying the Truth (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) Since Jiang's political gang of scoundrels started persecuting Falun Gong July 20, 1999, at least 756 Falun Gong practitioners in China have lost their lives in the brutal persecution. To let more worlds' people know about the significant event of "Bring Jiang Zemin to Justice", Falun Gong practitioners in Saipan conducted a more-than-four-hour event to circle the island on foot and a candle light vigil at night to memorialize fellow practitioners who had lost their lives during the persecution.

As early as 7 o'clock in the morning, practitioners started sending forth righteous thoughts, practicing standing exercises and promoting Dafa at the Immigration Building Plaza till 10 o'clock in the morning. Then the walk team set off from the practice site. Practitioners held three banners: "Stop persecuting Falun Gong," "Bring Jiang Zemin to Justice" and "4 years of torture and killing too long." Escorted by two policemen riding motorcycles, Falun Gong practitioners, wearing ribbons that read "SOS! Urgent rescue Falun Gong practitioners persecuted in China," walked along the beach road and turned to the financial district and handed out truth-clarifying materials. Many people asked for materials themselves. Seeing practitioners walking under the burning sun, many drivers waved their hands or blew their horns. Two Chinese laborers, while following the team riding on their bicycles, shouted, "Falun Dafa is Good!"

During the candlelight vigil, people stopped and watched, and wanted to learn the truth. They expressed how they found it hard to believe about the persecution in China. A middle school teacher from Guam's carefully listened to a Western practitioner's introduction, and asked for truth-clarifying materials. He said he would go back and spread the truth about Falun Gong and would get contact with Falun Gong practitioners in his area. We felt happy for him C one day he will rejoice the correct choice he has made in history.
