Radio Free Asia: More than 1000 Falun Gong Practitioners Hold Grand March in Taiwan, Calling for the Public Trial of Jiang Zemin

(Clearwisdom.net) Radio Free Asia reports from Taipei: The Taiwan Falun Dafa Associate sponsored a march on Sunday consisting of more than 1000 people, calling for the global public trial of China's former Chairman Jiang Zemin and for an end to the Chinese government's suppression of Falun Gong.

Taiwan's Central News Agency quoted a local Falun Gong practitioner as saying that Jiang Zemin ordered the establishment of the 610 Office all over China for the purpose of suppressing Falun Gong. In addition he used brutal means to take away the Falun Gong practitioners' lives, property, their freedom of belief and other basic rights, and causing many people to lose their families and homes. Starting in last October, Falun Gong practitioners brought lawsuits against Jiang in the U.S. Illinois Federal District Court and courts in six other countries. They brought the lawsuits with the charges of torture, crimes against humanity, and genocide related to Jiang Zemin and the 610 Office's persecution of Falun Gong.
