Photo Report: Falun Gong Practitioners Rally on Capitol Hill

(Clearwisdom.net, July 25, 2003) From July 19 to 22, more than 5,000 Falun Gong practitioners from all over the world gathered in Washington DC to hold a series of activities. On July 22, practitioners rallied on the U.S. Capitol Hill to call on people from all walks of life to support justice. A number of U.S. Senators and Representatives came to express their support. More than 30 NGOs asked Falun Gong practitioners to display signs imprinted with their names as a way to show their support and express their admiration for Falun Gong practitioners' courage and their strong condemnation of the persecution.

On the evening of July 21, Falun Gong practitioners also held a candlelight vigil to commemorate practitioners who were persecuted to death in China.
