Denmark: Explaining the Facts on July 20 in Copenhagen and Supporting the Global Lawsuit against Jiang Zemin (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net July 26, 2003) To mark four years of brutal persecution against Falun Gong practitioners by Jiang Zemin's regime, several Danish Falun Gong practitioners went to Washington DC to participate in the large-scale parade appealing to compassionate people around the world to pay attention to the persecution of Falun Gong in China and to support the lawsuit filed against Jiang Zemin for crimes of genocide. The Danish Falun Gong practitioners who stayed in Denmark held activities along with Swedish practitioners in Copenhagen to support the activities in Washington DC.

In the early morning of Sunday July 20, practitioners gathered at King Park, a major tourist spot in downtown Copenhagen, to hold a group exercise demonstration and tell both tourists and Danish people the facts about Falun Gong. Afterwards, the Danish and Swedish practitioners met in the Old Square of downtown Copenhagen. The main themes of this appeal was "Bring Jiang Zemin to Justice," "Explain the Facts," "Eradicate the Lies" and "Stop the Persecution of Falun Gong." The practitioners cooperated together well. Many passers-by stopped to watch the exercise demonstration and read Dafa flyers. They asked practitioners for more information about the truth of the persecution. They were astonished at first, but soon felt pleased to know that legal action has been filed against Jiang Zemin for crimes of genocide against Falun Gong.

In western society, Jiang's evil crimes of persecuting Falun Gong have become known to more and more people. A tourist couple from the US told a practitioner that they had been to Tiananmen Square in Beijing. They witnessed the brutalities of the Chinese police, and were highly impressed by the peacefulness and rationality demonstrated by the arrested Chinese Falun Gong practitioners. The Danish practitioners answered their questions on the crimes committed by the Chinese dictator, Jiang Zemin, and his cruel persecution against Falun Gong. They also explained how Jiang utilized China's state-controlled media to propagate lies, manipulate hatred, and force the Chinese people to oppose Falun Gong. The American couple indicated that they fully understood what could have happened to the practitioners detained by the police. They strongly condemned such brutal persecution.

The Jiang regime's persecution of Falun Gong has completely fallen apart overseas. More and more Chinese people have obtained a clear understanding of the lies and deception fabricated by Jiang. The Chinese people are more willing to accept Dafa leaflets and Video-CDs. One tourist from Hong Kong said it was beyond his imagination that there are so many Falun Gong practitioners in western society, and so many westerners practicing Falun Gong.

Before the activities ended, the practitioners sent forth righteous thoughts in front of the Chinese Embassy in Copenhagen.
