Missouri Dafa Practitioners Visit Members of Congress from Their State After the Washington DC Conference (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net July 26, 2003) On July 21 and 22, after the Washington DC Experience Sharing Conference, Missouri Dafa practitioners visited all members of Congress from their home state and updated them on recent developments. Congresswoman Karen McCarthy and Congressman Ike Skelton met with the practitioners in person and expressed their deep concern over the brutal persecution in China.

Although they had clarified the truth to them many times previously, the practitioners also had detailed discussions with legislative assistants of other members of Congress from Missouri to make them aware of new developments.

The practitioners took the opportunity to present certificates of appreciation to the members of Congress for their efforts to help end the persecution.

Both Senators and one Congressman wrote warm congratulatory letters of support for our conference on July 20 and the large rally on July 22, 2003.
