Stories From Dafa Practitioners' Walking Tour Throughout South Korea to Clarify the Truth

A local policeman accompanied us for 2 days in Youngchon. He saw our pure and righteous behavior and our exercise demonstrations. The practitioners also told him the magnificent results of practicing Falun Gong in terms of staying healthy and eliminating diseases. The policeman became especially interested in Falun Gong, after seeing among the practitioners an elderly lady, over 80 years old, who was able to walk over dozens of Li (1 Li == 0.5 km == 0.31 mile) daily. He kept asking us how to do the practice. When a practitioner gave him a copy of Zhuan Falun as a present, he expressed his gratitude over and over again.

When we got to Yeoungdong on July 10, 2003, the practitioners went to the local police station to clarify the truth, and were greeted by a department chief. Upon hearing the word "Falun Gong," he was very interested. He said that many officers in his department had practiced cultivation for many years but were not able to find a really good cultivation way. He wanted to know about Falun Gong so much that he gave us his business card with detailed contact information, asking us to mail him several copies of Zhuan Falun as soon as possible.

On the evening of July 6, we stayed in a public childcare center of Miryang City. The director there learned Falun Dafa from a teacher, and then taught all the students there to read the Fa and do the exercises. He also established the first Falun Dafa practice site in Miryang City. Presently every morning and evening, beautiful Dafa practice music can be heard at the childcare center.

The next morning, we practiced the exercises and spread the Fa in front of the Cultural Institute of Miryang City. The people in charge of the institute watched our exercise demonstration until the end, then asked us how and where to learn the exercises. They also invited us inside to explain the characteristics of Falun Gong to the staff. When practitioners asked if the practice site could be established in front of the institute, they happily agreed.

Along the way, we met many people with predestined relationships. When we got to the Andong Railway Station to do the exercises, a middle-aged man imitated our movements. Especially when doing the 2^nd set of exercises, he was even able to do it with us for the whole half hour. In Okchon, a man asked us for over a dozen truth-clarification materials. He said this practice was so good and he would give the materials to his relatives and friends.

"Many people with predestined relationships, coming in succession" summarized our feeling about the tour. Meanwhile, we realized that we should intensify our efforts of spreading the Fa and clarifying the truth, especially in the remote areas.
