Rainbow School is a private school in North London. A teacher from the school recently invited Falun Gong practitioners to come and teach exercises to the students. On Tuesdays, students of the Rainbow School now use time outside of their lessons to learn the Falun Gong exercises. A journalist also came to the class.

Accompanied by the slow and elegant Dafa music, over ten students and their teacher learned the exercises after free teaching from practitioners. After learning the exercises, the students discussed with the practitioners the important points of the exercises and Falun Gong's fundamental principles of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance."

Some of the students said, "This is a very interesting and special cultivation method. We learn to relax from these exercises. All of us like to take part in such a peaceful activity."

The teacher of the Rainbow School told the journalist, "Through Amnesty International we now understand the situation of Falun Gong. The ill treatment of Falun Gong practitioners deeply touches the children here. Though a persecution like this sounds very brutal, it is my duty to let my students understand real situations in this world. Much to our surprise, today in 2003 there is such brutality going on in the world. Through understanding the truth, my students know how lucky they are to live in a free country. To organise this Falun Gong exercise class also gives us an opportunity to try to change things. This cultivation method actually is very good and very peaceful. I notice that my students learned to relax after practising the exercises, becoming very energetic and calm, which is beneficial to their health. My students and I cannot understand why such a peaceful and harmless cultivation method is persecuted in China."
