UK: Explaining the Facts in the Busy City of York on July 20 (Photos)

On July 20th, several Falun Gong practitioners went to the busy business district of York in northwest England to demonstrate the exercises, and tell people about Dafa and the persecution happening in China. July 20 marked four years of brutality against Falun Dafa under the orders of Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin.

When the peaceful and beautiful exercise music began, many passers-by slowed down or stopped to watch. A lovely 2-year-old girl with golden hair and blue eyes watched the third exercise and started imitating the hand movements. She learned very fast and was precise. A middle-aged woman looked at our information boards for a long time before she approached practitioners to ask about Jiang's persecution of Falun Gong. She expressed a wish to do her best to help us. We thanked her for her kindness, and gave her some information.

As we gave out leaflets and told people the facts, we met many Chinese people. Some of them came towards the information desk and asked for leaflets and Video-CDs. Some of them who met practitioners in neighboring streets were willing to wait patiently for a Chinese booklet. They were very happy to receive the information. One practitioner came across a Chinese couple who were hesitant to accept a leaflet. The practitioner told them with sincerity, "Please remember Falun Dafa is good. I would not deceive you." The couple were moved by the practitioner's sincerity, and accepted the materials with pleasure. We told the truth of Dafa to many passers-by from our hearts, wishing them a bright and happy future.
