Washington DC: Practitioners Attend Nevada Senators' Breakfast Meeting (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On July 17 at 8:30 am, three Las Vegas Falun Gong practitioners attended the breakfast meeting of Nevada senators Harry Reid and John Ensign on Capitol Hill in Washington DC.

Practitioners introduced the beneficial effects of Falun Gong in both mind and body and the wide acceptance of Falun Gong in over 60 countries to Senator Harry Reid. They also told him the arrest and abuse of US citizen Charles Li by Chinese government. Senator Reid asked his senior assistant to look into the case further. We then clarified the real situation of Falun Gong. He expressed his understanding and sympathy and hoped us to keep touch with him.

Then Senator John Ensign asked people present to raise any questions they may have. A practitioner took the opportunity to talk about Jiang regime's cover up of SARS by lying, cheating and covering up the facts which caused the spread of SARS around the world. In addition Jiang regime had killed countless Falun Gong practitioners who followed principle of Truth Compassion Tolerance. US citizen Charles Li was arrested and abused because he is a Falun Gong practitioner. Practitioners hoped US government and people to rescue Charles Li back to US. People attending the meeting all listened attentively.
