One time during a heavy rain, her apartment on the 4th floor got flooded and their furniture, bedding, and personal belongings were badly damaged. The water was knee high in her room but the family above her on the 5th floor was free from any damage. At that time she was upset and complaining and also felt it was strange. Meanwhile, I knew clearly that it was her karmic retribution for destroying the Dafa truth-clarifying materials. I tried to convince her about this but she did not get it. Later, her husband broke his legs in a car accident, became bed-ridden and was unable to get up without the help of crutches.
I talked persuasively to my sister again and quietly left some Falun Gong materials and CDs at her home. This time she was enlightened and regretful of her past mistakes. Now my sister proactively asks me for Dafa materials to read.
