In most cases, whether a Dafa practitioner can keep a harmonious relationship with others, such as family members, co-workers, or fellow practitioners, is a good indicator of the effectiveness of that practitioner's truth-clarification efforts. Generally, the understanding and support for our cultivation and Dafa work from people around us is a result of our peaceful and benevolent demeanor. When the field around us is pure and righteous, this will strengthen the effectiveness of our truth-clarification, touch people's hearts and help them better understand the truth about Falun Dafa.

If a practitioner is not able to handle conflicts with people around him well, yet uses the excuse that clarifying the truth is the top priority, even though he was making great efforts to clarify the truth, he may have an omission from the perspective of higher standards. When we treat our own xinxing improvement tests with a lack of urgency, we may fail to see that many everyday people also treat our truth-clarifying efforts with a similar attitude. Though they did not say anything against Dafa, they might be reluctant to further understand Dafa--especially those who were already against Dafa in their minds because they had been deluded by fraudulent lies. In some cases these people may do something or lead some people who are not self-assured to cause negative effects, damage, and losses to Dafa.

In our cultivation practice we have to handle conflicts well according to our Master's expectations and Dafa's standards. When we do not do well and fall, we should get up and do better to catch up. Dafa will provide us the wisdom to clarify the truth because people are just waiting for us to improve our own xinxing. When we do well they will respect us and trust us, and be saved as a result. This is a deeper meaning that I enlightened to from what Master said, "All the beings are counting on you!" ("Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Philadelphia, U.S.A."). Every level we improve ourselves to in truth-clarification means another level of beings are saved; this is the important responsibility of Dafa disciples.

Let us all do well according to Master's teaching, "Cultivate yourselves well, clarify the facts, and send righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil." "So from now on you should do better in studying the Fa, and that way your righteous thoughts will be stronger and you'll have a greater ability for saving sentient beings." ("Teaching the Fa at the 2003 Midwest-U.S. Fa Conference").
