France: Touched by Practitioners' Demeanor, RATP Officials Want to Help More People to Learn the Truth about Dafa (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) RATP (RATP is the main public transport operator for Paris and its suburbs) invited Falun Gong practitioners to participate in their welcome activities for the World Track and Field Championships held in Auber, the largest subway station in Paris. For four days, from July 8th to July11th, Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated Falun Gong exercises there every morning. The Auber subway station became a peaceful area of gentle and beautiful Falun Gong music and exercises with practitioners dressed in beautiful traditional costumes.

Here in the busy subway, many passengers learned more about Falun Gong, enjoyed looking at the exercise display and heard the truth about Jiang's persecution. People could see practitioners' performance and a video of Falun Gong founder Master Li Hongzhi demonstrating the Falun Gong exercises on a huge screen hanging above the practitioners.

This was a great opportunity to let more people know about the brutal persecution against Falun Gong that is happening in China. During this week, employees of RATP helped practitioners a lot to let more people know the truth. One RATP employee was touched by the beautiful music and the practitioners' peaceful demeanor. She helped the practitioners fold booklets and distribute them to passers-by.

An RATP representative made several speeches about Falun Gong. He also suggested that practitioners should talk about the persecution in China. Sometimes, he handed the microphone over to the practitioners so that they could make an impromptu speech.

Many Chinese people walked through the demonstration area, and were surprised and amazed to see Falun Dafa's participation in such an important activity held by RATP. Some of them had long conversations with the practitioners and gladly took the leaflets and Video-CDs. RATP held activities every afternoon. The practitioners distributed material on each of these occasions enabling an enormous amount of people to learn more about Dafa.

The Press Department of RATP recorded the practitioners' activities. Dafa practitioners even attended a debate on physical education. One of those who made public speeches was a psychologist in physical education, who strongly encouraged people to practice Falun Gong. He said, "Nowadays, a lot of high-performance sportsmen are doing similar exercises to Falun Gong. It is not only to help them release tension, but also to have their muscles relax and harmonize the relationship between body and soul."

The practitioners had many opportunities to chat with artists and sportsmen. They all expressed their support for what the practitioners have done. The event organizer was moved by the practitioners' behavior and found them very easy to work with.

On the last day, one lady said, "Is it true that RATP invited Falun Dafa for this activity?" After hearing a positive answer, she said, "This is terrific, I once was angry about the transport strike. However, I am very glad that they invited Falun Gong to participate in this activity."

Many people came especially to see the Falun Gong demonstration. One practitioner painted a large mural, which is to be displayed to all sportsmen participating in the World Track and Field Championships. Dafa practitioners wrote down, "Falun Dafa is Good!" so that sportsmen now know that Falun Gong will co-exist with them during the world track and field championships.

This experience helped French practitioners to work together better. We've never repeated the phrase, "Falun Dafa is good" so many times! We all felt that the subway had been purified.
