(Clearwisdom.net, July 30, 2003) Epoch Times -- RINK, a coalition composed of volunteers aiming at rescuing Ms. Yoko Kaneko is currently conducting a new round of activities to raise awareness in Japan.

Posters pasted at the JR (left) station and Jingqiao (right) station calling for the rescue of Ms. Yoko Kaneko.

According to RINK's coordinator, the series activities included collecting petition signatures and pasting posters calling for the rescue of Yoko Kaneko.

Starting from July 21, they put up posters at two railway stations in west Japan.

Ms. Yoko Kaneko and Mr. Atsushi Kaneko were married in 1999 and settled down in Niigata-ken, Japan. On May 24, 2002, Yoko was arrested when she distributed Falun Gong truth-clarifying literatures in Beijing and has been imprisoned in a forced labor camp since.

At the end of July 2002, the Multi-Party members of the Japanese Parliament formed a rescue Coalition. In August, 2002, the Multi-Party Coalition's rescue effort allowed Mr. Atsushi Kaneko to visit his wife in Beijing. Unfortunately, Yoko was tortured in the labor camp so badly that she has become extremely weak, which made Atsushi feel heartbroken. He feared that his wife might not be able to come out of the labor camp alive, and when he went back to Japan, he actively started a campaign to rescue his wife Yoko.

On August 4, 2002, RINK, an organization composed of voluntary Japanese citizens who have sense of justice, was formally established aiming at rescuing Ms. Yoko Kaneko. Now RINK has offices at Tokyo, Osaka and Kanazawa-ku. The organization conducted several petitions for the rescue of Yoko. This time, they put up posters at different railway stations calling for the Japanese society's attention.

Meanwhile, another organization, Association for Rescuing Yoko Kaneko also held a series activities including collecting petition signatures and appealing to the Parliament, which drew much attention from media.
