(Clearwisdom.net)

Zhang Quan, a division manager of the Dagushan mine in Anshan city, Liaoning Province was illegally sentenced to forced labor camp for his practice of Falun Gong. During his detention at the Anshan Forced Labor Camp, under the direction of the Party Commission Chief Zhang Zhenyang, the police, criminals and former practitioners who had turned against Dafa cruelly tortured him. They used sleep deprivation and relentless false propaganda to attempt to brainwash him. Zhang Quan suffered a great deal both physically and mentally, leading to his suffering a mental collapse. He lost his desire to eat or drink, had blood in his urine for more than a month, and his health deteriorated rapidly.

In spite of Mr. Zhang's condition, the police refused to release him until his full term had been served. Even after his release, the police continued to harass him at home.
