(Clearwisdom.net) [Northern China] Falun Dafa Truth-Clarifying Banners Appear on the Street and Residential
Buildings in a City in Northern China While all of heaven and Earth celebrated the eleventh anniversary of Teacher's introduction of
Falun Dafa to the world, practitioners in a Northern Chinese city hung up seven elaborate banners,
made by fellow practitioners, on a prominent residential building. Two particularly attractive
banners read "Welcome World Falun Dafa Day May 13th". The banners were at least 3.5 meters
long and half a meter wide. Remarkably, at 3:30 p.m., when the street was crowded with heavy traffic, a female practitioner
displayed the wisdom of Dafa, hanging a banner that read "Falun Dafa is a righteous way"
on an overpass. The banner was hung vertically at eye level, and many people passed by on their way
to work. People commented," Falun Gong practitioners are really wise!" All seven big
banners were hung during the daytime. Falun Dafa practitioners defy the evil and persistently
clarify the truth to people, frightening the evil and showing Dafa's power. [Xinyi City, Jiangsu Province] Detention Center Illegally Detains Practitioners Indefinitely Mr. Xie Yinbin, a 57 year old Falun Dafa practitioner, is a resident of Honghuabu, Honghua
Township, Yancheng County, Shandong Province. On May 21, 2003, he was illegally arrested by police
in Xinyi City while distributing truth-clarifying materials in the neighboring Huangdun Village in
Xinyi City, Jiangsu Province. He still has not been released from Xinyi City's Detention Center. Another steadfast Dafa practitioner was also held in this detention center. Ms. Wei Xia, a
practitioner around 30 years old is a resident of Xinyi City, Jiangsu Province. After July 20, she
walked to Beijing twice to safeguard Dafa. She was arrested and illegally sentenced to 2 years of
forced labor reeducation. Because she refused to write the so-called "Guarantee Letter"
stating that she would stop practicing, she was not released even when her two-year term of forced
labor reeducation ended. She is still being held in the detention center. [Xiamen City, Fujian Province] "610 Office" Plans a New Round of Brainwashing Sessions The Xiamen "610 Office" in Fujian Province is planning to hold a new round of
brainwashing sessions. Several Falun Dafa practitioners in the local area have received the notice. [Handan City, Hebei Province] "610 Officials" Are Still Madly Persecuting Practitioners Falun Dafa practitioner Tong Cunshu, of Handan City, has been illegally held in No. 1 Detention
Center in Handan City for nearly two years. Recently, he was secretly sentenced to 4 years in
prison. Her brother, Tong Ruiqing, held a 12-day hunger strike in protest, and was illegally
sentenced to 2 years of forced labor reeducation. Her brother was then sent to Handan City's Forced
Labor Camp.
