"The Big Screen TV" Visits Chicago's Chinatown

(Clearwisdom.net) Over the past a few days, practitioners from all over the world gathered and sent forth righteous
thoughts in front of the Chinese consulate in Chicago. Practitioners divided themselves into several
groups One group visited different communities in Chicago to distribute truth-clarification fliers.
The other group went to Chinatown to clarify the truth and distribute fliers to the local Chinese
organizations, shops, restaurants, and Chinese people. Practitioners invited fellow Chinese people
to come and enjoy practitioners' performances, parades, and other celebrations in Chinatown and in
the downtown area. Here are some stories. "The Big Screen TV" visits Chicago's Chinatown For over a year, practitioners in Toronto have been using a big screen TV to help clarify the
truth in their local Chinatown. This time, they brought the big screen TV all the way from Toronto
to Chicago to help better clarify the truth to the local Chinese people there. It was a tough trip,
and they almost had two car accidents on their way to Chicago. The big screen TV was a huge help. Some people tried every means to interfere with the effort.
With the practitioners' efforts of clarifying the truth and sending forth righteous thoughts, the
big screen TV managed to stay in Chinatown. Many passengers stopped by to watch the programs and ask

practitioners, "Thank you so much!" "Is it useful to appeal in such a peaceful way?" An owner of a shopping center has a great conscience. He asked a practitioner, "Is it useful
to appeal in such a peaceful way? I don't think your petitions and condemnations would fundamentally
solve the problem. You have to get rid of Jiang. Ever since it first seized power the Chinese
Communist Party has never done a single righteous thing. You need to get rid of the evil regime as
what the United States did to Saddam Hussein." The practitioner answered, "We've been doing what our Teacher told us to do. People might
treat us badly. However, we do not treat other people badly. We are cultivators. Cultivators would
never get involved in politics, so we won't fight for power. We only hope to stop this evil
persecution. If all the kind-hearted people and people with conscience could stand up to condemn the
head of the evil gang, and if everyone could bring Jiang to justice in the court of morality and in the court of
conscience, this persecution would end. " "Please don't leave before teaching me how to do the exercises." When a practitioner distributed truth-clarification materials to a Chinese restaurant, the wife
of the restaurant owner said, "I know Falun Gong is good. Otherwise, there wouldn't be so many
people practicing it. Some of your fellow practitioners talked to me before. I wanted to learn it.
He even gave me a book on Falun Gong. However, I've been too busy to read the book. Now, since you
are here, please don't leave before teaching me how to do the exercises." One of the staff said, "You will definitely win!" A doctor's change In a certain Chinese clinic, the family doctor initially wasn't nice to the practitioners. She
thought they were getting involved in politics and she thought that their petition in front of the
Chinese Consulate was a shame for Chinese people. One practitioner told her, "I was illegally
imprisoned in China for two years because I practice Falun Gong. During that period of time, my wife
was in Canada. She talked to all kinds of people to call upon kind-hearted people to help rescue her
husband. Can you say she was involved in politics? Now, thousands of Falun Gong practitioners are
being illegally detained in China because of their belief in Falun Gong. They have lost their jobs,
and even their lives. What practitioners living abroad have been doing is simply trying to rescue
those innocent fellow practitioners from brutal torture and inhuman persecution. Can you say that
this is politics?" After three practitioners clarified the truth to her for over an hour, that doctor said,
"You have been wronged. Your name will be cleared." "Give me some more fliers." A practitioner gave a flier to a Chinese woman and invited her to come and watch practitioners
performances and parade during the weekend. The practitioner also asked her to bring her family and
friends. The woman said, "Give me some more fliers. I'll give them to my colleagues."
