Criminal Officials of Sichuan Province Plan to Establish Brainwashing Centers in Every City

Brainwashing centers are being established in every city in Sichuan Province to persecute Falun Dafa practitioners and force them to give up their belief. The scheduled brainwashing term is three years, while life sentences will be given to determined practitioners. The brainwashing center of Qingbaijiang District, Chengdu City is to be built in the Longwang Grain Depot, which is affiliated with the Qingbaijiang District Provisioning Department. At present, the "610 Office"* of Qingbaijiang District has asked the builders to survey the site. Construction is already underway.

The "610 Office" from the Qingbaijiang District met with "610 Offices" from the surrounding area and the district government to come up with a new "plan" to force practitioners to give up cultivation. They talk with the practitioners, and then if the practitioner still insists on practicing Falun Gong, he will be asked to report to the "610 Office" and the local police department. They use unscrupulous tactics including attempting to force Falun Gong practitioners to: 1) Write "Three Statements" to denounce Falun Gong; 2) Disclose the names of those so-called Falun Gong "leaders" who stayed in touch with them; 3) Hand in all Falun Dafa books; 4) Collaborate to brainwash other practitioners.

Any practitioner who agrees to the four requirements would be allowed to return to work and receive the same salary as before (regardless of whether the practitioner had been detained, condemned, or previously sentenced to forced labor).
