(Clearwisdom.net) On July 1, 2003, the sunshine was brilliant. Crowds of people were bustling in front of the Legislation Building in Edmonton, Alberta to celebrate Canada Day. At the corner of the noisy fountain, people surprisingly discovered that a group of people, peacefully doing the elegant exercises to the music, formed a sharp contrast with the surrounding atmosphere. People who were curious came up to read display boards and request materials. From time to time, some predestined people would come to learn the exercises on the spot. A woman sat next to the practitioners and carefully inquired about the persecution of Falun Gong in China. She felt it inconceivable that the Chinese government would suppress such a peaceful group. A Chinese family smiled and walked up to us to take our materials, and had a conversation with practitioners. Two new practitioners from nearby Slave Lake area also drove here to participate in the Fa-spreading activity.
