Going Through the Pass with Righteous Thoughts By Hong Hui, a practitioner from China
(Clearwisdom.net) In Autumn of 2001, I enlightened that articles by practitioners about "going through the
pass with righteous thoughts" have a very important message: Being abducted by the evil in and
of itself is an omission. The evil is taking advantage of gaps in cultivation. We are Dafa disciples in the period of the Fa-rectification. We are cultivating in the Fa-rectification.
We are assisting Master to rectify the Fa. We can rectify anything abnormal and can eliminate all
evils that bring damage to Dafa. It is not at all like enduring hardships and eliminating karma
during one's personal cultivation period. Master told us, "Except for newer students, from July 20 of 1999 on, Master hasn't created any personal
cultivation-type tests for you, and that's because overall your personal cultivation has changed in
the direction of saving sentient beings and validating Dafa." (Fa-Lecture During the 2003
Lantern Festival at the U.S. West Fa Conference) Master pushed Dafa disciples who had obtained the Fa before July 20, 1999, to the highest
position on July 20, 1999. But we were not aware of it at that time. Master also told us, "Some people did things nobly and righteously, without fear, and so they weren't persecuted;
and when they were sent to forced labor camps, the evil in other dimensions couldn't take it and had
to let them out." (Fa-Lecture During the 2003 Lantern Festival at the U.S. West Fa
Conference) I understand this Fa to mean: Although both were noble and righteous and without fear, the former
"was not persecuted," while the latter was let out of the forced labor camps because the
evil in other dimensions couldn't take it. Comparing the two, isn't the latter still lacking in some
way? Why didn't he always keep righteous thoughts right from the beginning rather than going through
the forced labor camp with righteous thoughts? Why did he just have righteous thoughts when he was
arrested? Where are we wrong when we try to be good people according to the universal principles of
"Truth, Compassion, and Tolerance?" We are Dafa disciples in the Fa-rectification period.
Teacher told us, "Indestructible righteous faith in the cosmos's Truth forms benevolent Dafa disciples'
rock-solid, Diamond-Like Bodies, it frightens all evil, and the light of Truth it emanates makes the
unrighteous elements in all beings' thoughts disintegrate." ("Also in a Few Words" Essentials
for Further Advancement II) I am not saying that the fellow practitioners who "get through the pass" are
necessarily different. I just mean that our cultivation is upgrading continuously. If we stay at one
level for too long, it can affect the progress of the Fa-rectification. This is just my personal understanding. Please kindly correct anything inappropriate.
