Falun Gong Presents Chinese Culture on Constitution Avenue (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On July 4, more than 60 organizations from across the US representing different ethic backgrounds held a grand parade along Constitution Avenue in Washington DC to celebrate US's Independence Day, a day that had great influence on world history. 277 years ago, on July 4, 1776, the Declaration of Independence was passed that declared to the world the founding principles of the country: that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

This year Falun Gong practitioners were among the Philadelphia and DC Parade procession. The Falun Gong formation was huge and presented traditional Chinese culture programs including dragon dance, waist drums, Tang Dynasty Costume Show, Fairy Costume Show to tens of thousands of spectators along Constitution Avenue.

Falun Gong practitioner Aidong Cui said, "Tang Dynasty is the Prime Era in Chinese history. Chinese culture is profound and rich. We especially dedicate Tang Dynasty's culture to America." She also said, "Falun Gong practitioners cultivate truth, compassion and tolerance which inherit the essence of Chinese culture. It is very meaningful to have the opportunity to walk in Independence Day parade and represent eastern culture."

As the Falun Gong formation showed up on Constitution Avenue, many people were stunned by the beauty and them gave warm applauses. A spectator said, "Chinese people in our hearts are just like this."

Falun Gong practitioners' fairy formation expressed the eastern aesthetics of Chinese females. Spectators constantly rushed to the formation to snap a photo.

Chinese culture is culture of cultivation. Many Americans asked practitioners how to cultivate in Falun Gong. Some people learned the exercises along the roadside.

A Chinese family from Maryland also came to watch the parade. The father Mr. Tang said, "Falun Gong practitioners' stories represented the essence of Chinese traditional history. Ancient China had this kind of personality. Falun Gong practitioners said they thank the US's moral support over the past 4 years. America is fulfilling its historic responsibility."

On July 4, Falun Gong practitioners, after 4 years of brutal persecution by the Jiang regime, walked on the US Capital's Constitution Avenue and former capital Philadelphia to present eastern culture to America. This was a very special and precious opportunity.
