With the inspiration and assistance of fellow practitioners, I understand that, during the period of Fa-rectification, Dafa practitioners are not to limit themselves to personal cultivation, but are also to shoulder the responsibilities of exposing the evil and saving the sentient beings. In many instances when Teacher explained the Fa, he clearly indicated that Dafa practitioners and the Fa-rectification period exist simultaneously.

Realizing this, I plucked up enough courage, took my pen and wrote down my aspirations as best I could. If there is anything improper, I request comments from my fellow practitioners.

I was fortunate to receive the Fa in 1997. On a fortuitous occasion, I noticed Teacher's Fa Lecture in Sydney, and I finished reading the whole lecture continuously without missing a word. My heart was moved. Not long after that, I obtained a copy of Zhuan Falun with the assistance of fellow practitioners. Thereafter, I embarked on the path of cultivation. When I was cultivating wholeheartedly, after July 20, 1999 those motivated primarily by self-interest succumbed to pressure from evil influences and became the accomplices of the evil to suppress Falun Dafa. Also, many ordinary citizens were deceived by the lies.

Later, after repeatedly studying the Fa and exchanging views with fellow practitioners, I gradually realized the duty of the Dafa practitioner in the Fa-rectification period, thus learning the meaning of justice and righteousness. In "No Politics," Teacher said:

After moving up in my understanding, I decided to utilize the holidays to visit Beijing and use my righteous thoughts and actions to awaken people who had been misled by the lies.

On October 1, I went to Beijing with fellow practitioners for Fa-rectification. On that day one person was arrested. Thereafter, because he made disclosures, many Dafa practitioners were arrested. Because of this, I was just adrift and unable to return home. The evildoers exerted pressure on the leader of our work unit and my family members. Therefore, I had to return home. My husband wanted me to write a letter guaranteeing not to practice anymore and also go to the Public Security Bureau to record it in writing. I said that practicing Falun Gong was not wrong and explained the truth to him, but he would not accept it. He tore up my book, destroyed my exercise tapes and assaulted me. Under the immense pressure from the persecution, our originally harmonious family had reached the point of disintegration, even to the extent of divorce being a topic for discussion in the day's schedule.

My husband and my work unit made contact and found people to come to my house to "reform" me. I clarified the truth to my husband, stating clearly why I wanted to study the Fa. It was because Dafa had purified my body and heart. His manner changed and he said that I could practice at home, but not to go out and publicize it. I was very happy, as this was a very positive step for him, too. Because I did not understand it from the Fa, just superficially, I felt it was a victory. I therefore accepted his request, wrote the "letter of guarantee" and went to the Public Security Bureau to sign and record my pledge.

Now, on reflection, I have a very guilty conscience. Had I not compromised towards the evil? Was signing the guarantee not working in league with the evil? Though it was against my will as a Dafa practitioner, I should absolutely not have done that. It was something that I should absolutely not have done to allow the evil to achieve its aim. In "Dafa is Indestructible," Teacher said: "As a Dafa disciple, your determined, righteous thoughts are absolutely unshakable, because your newer being is formed precisely amidst the Fa-rectification. But in order to achieve everything they've wanted to, the old, evil forces in the cosmos have directly taken part in persecuting Dafa, Dafa disciples, and all beings by continuously using the evil arrangements that they contrived and that don't conform to the true Fa-principles of the cosmos, and they have taken advantage of the unremoved notions that are at Dafa disciples' human surface, and Dafa disciples' karma, to make their righteous thoughts falter."... "As a Dafa disciple, everything of yours is formed by Dafa and is the most righteous, and it can only be that [you] rectify everything that is not righteous. How could you bow to the evil? How could you promise something to the evil? Even if it doesn't truly come from your heart, it's still giving in to the evil. This is bad conduct for humans, too, and Gods absolutely would not do such a thing." Consequently, I announced my withdrawal of the "letter of guarantee" and my pledge on the website so as to totally erase my black mark. In the process of the Dafa profoundly penetrating into the human hearts and with the Dafa practitioners continually clarifying the facts, telling the truth, and sending forth righteous thoughts, enabling more and more people to awaken, my husband also began to understand this campaign of persecution.

Reviewing my recent experiences has made me realize the importance of studying the Fa. In the face of various tribulations, we should study the Fa. Only then can one's thoughts be steadfast, as any attachment can be used by the evil to penetrate the gap. The Dafa practitioners must bear responsibility for exposing the evil and saving humans.

These are my personal experiences and are also evidence of the persecution of Falun Dafa and the Falun Dafa practitioners by the Jiang clique.
