Since Jiang's regime started persecuting Falun Dafa on July 20, 1999, and despite huge pressure, Dafa practitioners have never stopped their compassionate effort to clarify the facts to people. In recent years, moved by Dafa practitioners' unselfish and courageous acts in clarifying the truth, many wise people began to support Falun Dafa. However, a handful of officials in the Hebei Shijiazhuang City Railroad Administration continue to aid the evil for personal gain.

The following are details from a few persecution cases against Dafa practitioners.

1. Torture death of Dafa practitioner Mr. Ding Lihong from the RR Maintenance Department (Ref: http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2003/1/12/30798.html).

After Ding Lihong became a practitioner his life completely turned around. He gave up many bad habits. Practicing Falun Gong gave him both physical health and peace of mind. After the persecution, Ding Lihong went to Beijing several times to appeal for Falun Gong. He was repeatedly detained and persecuted.

In September, 2001, he was abducted on the street by Shijiazhuang City police officers. They released him after he staged a hunger strike that lasted over 20 days, and his life was in danger. He then had to leave his home and move about from place to place to avoid police harassment. On February 13, 2002, persons from the Shijiazhuang City Railroad Administration tricked Ding's parents, and abducted Ding during a brief visit home. The police sent him to a Hebei Province brainwashing center. To force Ding to abandon Falun Gong, the Maintenance Department paid money and sent people to the center to help persecute him. Ding Lihong refused to cooperate. He safeguarded Dafa with his righteous acts. He repeatedly held hunger strikes. After two-and-a-half months of torture, he escaped from the center. While in the brainwashing center, Ding Lihong was force-fed and also given alcohol. He was brutally beaten, and suffered sleep deprivation and other torture. People in the brainwashing center said Ding Lihong endured a lot.

In October of 2002, personnel from the Taiyuan City Wan Bolin Police Station in Shanxi Province once again abducted him. To protest their brutal torture, he went on a hunger strike and was sent to a hospital to undergo force-feeding. He was killed during a brutal force-feeding. According to a Shanxi police officer, several other Dafa practitioners were tortured to death at the same time.

2. Maintenance Department Dafa practitioner Mr. Wang Xinzhong is still illegally detained in Shanxi Province.

Wang Xizhong, a friendly person and good employee, was a manager at the Maintenance Department. In May 2001, the Shijiazhuang City "610 Office"* people came to his workplace and beat him up. Afterwards they took him away to the police station for torture and questioning. The police then returned the injured Wang Xinzhong to his workplace, and ordered his employer to put him under house arrest. Wang later escaped and went into hiding. At the end of 2001, Wang Xinzhong returned home. To his surprise, his daughter Wang Bo, who had been brainwashed, informed the police. Police later arrested Wang Xinzhong and sent him to a Hebei Province brainwashing center. The Maintenance Department paid money and sent people to help the persecutors. In May 2002, Wang Xinzhong escaped from this center and went into hiding. In October 2002, he was abducted by persons from the Taiyuan City Wan Bolin Police Station in Taigu County, Shanxi Province. The police tortured him brutally. To this day, he is still being detained in Shanxi Province. It is reported that for political reasons, Hebei Province "610 Office" personnel negotiated with their counterparts in Shanxi Province, asking for the return of Wang Xinzhong to Hebei. Shanxi "610 Office" personnel issued a request for several hundred thousand Yuan payment. They failed to reach a deal.

3. Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Huixin from the Passenger Department was maimed and sent to a brainwashing center.

Dafa practitioner Li Huixin is a single mother who was living with her elementary school-age son. In December 2000, she went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa and was arrested. She held a hunger strike to protest the mistreatment. Later, a Shijiazhuang City Railroad Administration official took her back to Shijiazhuang City and held her in a railroad detention center. Li Huixin held another hunger strike and was force-fed and tortured. At the end of 2001, her department planned to send her to a brainwashing center. She had to leave her home and go into hiding. On May 8, 2003, Li Huixin was abducted on the street by Shijiazhuang City railroad police. Her department and the Shijiazhuang City "610 Office" tortured her to obtain a confession, causing permanent injury to her arms. Even under such horrific circumstances, Li Huixin did not stop her hunger strike. The "610 Office" authorities forced her department to pay money and assign people to force her into a Hebei Province brainwashing center. They treated Li Huixin as an important target for persecution. Currently, Li is still detained in the brainwashing center.

4. Former deputy manager, Dafa practitioner Mr. Niu Mingang secretly sentenced to 12 years incarceration.

Dafa practitioner Niu Mingang was a deputy manager of a freight station in the Shijiazhuang City Railroad Administration. In 1999 he went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa. Later, he was demoted to worker status in a South Cargo Storage Warehouse. On October 3, 2001, police arrested him at his home. He was identified as a key persecution target along with seven other practitioners who had been arrested earlier on September 28th. After over a month's brutal torture, he was sent to the Shijiazhuang Number 2 Detention Center. A policeman was overheard saying, "Outsiders find the hardship they endured unbelievable!" On September 9, 2002, Shijiazhuang City Qiaoxi District Court secretly handed Niu Mingang a 12-year sentence. The other two female practitioners who were sentenced had been secretly transferred to the Shijiazhuang Prison in May 2003. Niu Mingang may still be in the Number 2 Detention Center.

5. Former policewoman Yao Jianrong persecuted in a labor camp and brainwashing center.

Yao Jianrong was a policewoman in the Shijiazhuang City Railroad Administration's police branch. She was an earnest and responsible police officer. In 2000, she wrote a letter about her personal cultivation of Falun Gong and clarified the truth to the public. Soon after, the railroad police and the Shijiazhuang City "610 Office" people secretly abducted her. The "610 Office" enforcers tried all kinds of means to force her to abandon Dafa. Finally they sent her to the forced labor camp using fabricated charges. Despite harsh physical and mental torture at the Shijiazhuang Forced Labor Camp, Yao Jianrong refused to give in. Even an extended sentence did not shake her resolve. Out of frustration, the evil officials sent her to the Hebei Province Brainwashing Center at the end of the year 2001 for further persecution. After Yao was brainwashed, they still didn't let her go. Officials forced her to help persecute other practitioners. In the end, Yao Jianrong was completely ruined, both mentally and physically. After she was released, the authorities barred her from returning to her old job as a policewoman. She was assigned to work as a manual laborer at the South Cargo Storage Warehouse, far away from her home.

6. Other forced labor cases.

Practitioner Mr. Liang Jianwen, from the South Cargo Storage Warehouse, was abducted from home in the summer of 2001. Later he was illegally sent to a forced labor camp. Now he is in Division Number 2 of the Shijiazhuang City Forced Labor Camp.

Practitioner Ms. Tan Qiongqiong, from the Passenger Department, was arrested in the winter of 2001 when she was away from home to avoid police harassment. She was detained in the Shijiazhuang City's Number 1 Detention Center for half a year. Later, she was sentenced to two years of forced labor. Currently she is in Division Number 4 of the Shijiazhuang City Forced Labor Camp.

7. Cases of practitioners forced to leave their homes.

Practitioner Mr. Liu Lijiang, from the Maintenance Department, received a tip in June 2002 that his employer was plotting to send him to a brainwashing center. To avoid the persecution, Liu and his wife had to leave home and go into hiding, leaving their child and parents at home without proper care.

Practitioner Ms. Liu Yanhong is the wife of Shen Manliang, from the Passenger Department. To protest the illegal persecution, Liu Yanhong held a hunger strike, taking no food or water for over 40 days. The officials refused to release her until she was near death. Later, Shijiazhuang City Force Labor Camp authorities again plotted to abduct Liu Yanhong. To avoid another arrest, Liu and her husband went into hiding, leaving a child at home.

8. Practitioners abducted into Hebei Province Brainwashing Center.

Prior to Falun Gong practice, Mr. Wang Huajun from the South Cargo Storage Warehouse was dying of leukemia. After three months of Falun Gong practice, he went back to work, a healthy person. Later he went to Beijing repeatedly to appeal for Falun Gong. He was continuously persecuted by "610 Office" personnel. He was forced to leave home to avoid arrest. At the end of 2001, railroad police abducted Wang Huajun on the street and sent him to a Hebei Province brainwashing center. After a six day hunger strike without water and food, his life was in danger. Fearing that he might die in custody, the police let him go.

Practitioner Zhang Jinjing was the secretary for the Youth League of the Shijiazhuang City Railroad Party Committee. He was arrested because of his effort to clarify the facts of Falun Gong to people. In the fall of 2001, Zhang was transferred to the Shijiazhuang City's Number Two Detention Center. In the spring of 2002, his employer forcibly sent him to a Hebei Province brainwashing center. After he was brainwashed for three months, the duration of the original term, the authorities refused to release him. He ended up staying in the brainwashing center for half a year.

An old saying in China goes like this: "Good will be rewarded with good; evil will be punished." Now Jiang is being sued in a U.S. federal court. Hopefully, he will be brought to justice in a grand trial.

*"610 Office" is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.
