Missouri: Springfield Invites Falun Gong to Independence Parade Again (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) This year, Springfield, Missouri invited Falun Gong to join the Independence Day parade on July 4^th again and provided a flat bed truck for Falun Gong practitioners to decorate a float. This is the third time Falun Gong participated in the Springfield parade. The beauty of Falun Dafa and the peacefulness of the exercises made a positive and lasting impression on the many in attendance.

On Independence Day, the sky was blue and sunny. Practitioners came from Columbia and St. Louis. Some practitioners demonstrated exercises on the float, some distributed flyers along the streets. Wherever the Falun Dafa float going, the visitors gave warm applauses and many people waved their hands. People were happy to receive your paper materials.

After the parade, the practitioners went to Washington Park to promote Fa and do exercises. They set up display boards to introduce the history of Falun Dafa being spread to the world and expose the brutal persecution in China. Many people came to read the display board. Some started to learn the exercises at the site, and some invited the practitioners to hold exercises teaching class in the city.

The practitioners also joined the performance show to celebrate the Independence Day. The Falun Gong practitioners sang songs and performed traditional Chinese dance. The songs praised the courage of Falun Gong practitioners and called on kind-hearted people to help to stop the persecution. The dance was performed by a practitioner in her sixties, but her nimble leaps and flexible movements belied her age. The audience gave warm applause and gained a deep impression of great health effect of Falun Gong.
